Funding Assistance

Local eisteddfod committees can access grants and financial guidance through CYMDEITHAS EISTEDDFODAU CYMRU. We help organising committees secure the resources they need to run successful events that celebrate Welsh language and culture.

Grants for Local Eisteddfodau

The society offers grants to support local eisteddfodau across Wales. These funds can assist with venue costs, adjudicator fees, prize money, and other essential expenses that keep community eisteddfodau thriving.

Financial Guidance

Beyond direct funding, we provide practical financial advice to organising committees. Whether you are planning your first eisteddfod or looking to strengthen an established event, our team can help you budget effectively and identify appropriate funding streams.

How to Apply

Committees interested in funding support are encouraged to get in touch. The chairperson, Terwyn Tomos, can be reached at cadeirydd@steddfota.org for initial enquiries about grants and financial assistance.

We also welcome ideas and contributions that help strengthen the funding base for local eisteddfodau — please do not hesitate to contact us with proposals.
